Had a great night of free entertainment at Bands on the Bank in Wainfleet at the weekend.
Had lots of family fun, we all danced the night away for a few hours.
We went quite late at around 8ish and had a listen to 2 bands. First band was good played modern music like Sex is on fire by the Kings of Leon, the music was played well and the lead singer wasn’t that bad at bursting out a tune.
The last Band of the night sucked! they didn’t play the music well and the lead singer was awful, We had no idea what they where playing half the time, but it was all good when ever they croaked out a song we recognized
.
It was a grey day, so my photos of the fun we had are a little hit and miss, luckily the weather held off.
The band on the banks is on a field next to Batemans Brewery in Wainfleet. It was a picturesque setting with a river running along side, we got to watch some geese on the water while listening to the bands which was lovely.
The geese where eating blackberries from the waters edge, I never knew geese ate blackberries so I learned something that night
.
My youngest son went on a bouncy castle and bouncy slide for 10 minutes, he was really tired and sleepy after all that exercise, well he had also spent 4 hours swimming that day with his big brother
A great day out.
