Feel Good Songs

I got triple joy with this post.

I love the song, I adore Pon and Zi cartoon characters and my son has learned to play Jason Mraz’s song I’m Yours on his ukulele.

Fills me with joy when I see Pon and Zi they make me smile.

Jason Mraz’a song I’m yours is a sweet little ditty that makes you bob along to the music as well as being a happy song to hear.

Best of all is that my son has only been playing the Ukulele for 4 weeks and to top it off he’s good at singing for a little one

My son is Learning to play the Ukulele and he’s learning the song Somewhere over the rainbow.

This version sung by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole has a beautiful melody.

I remember this song mainly from the Wizard of OZ sung by Judy Garland, I have fond memories of walking down the street happily singing Somewhere over the Rainbow when I was small, but I think Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole is a more harmonious version and it makes you feel happy and chilled out.

Today is the 70Th birthday of the Singer Songwriting legend John Lennon and to celebrate I thought I would share the song lyrics to Imagine one of the best songs ever produced.

John Lennon without a doubt understood the realism of the human condition and for me John Lennon’s song Imagine Say’s it all.

I’m too young to have followed John’s music career, but Imagine always moves me whenever I hear it, an awesome classic.

Ever Generation should hear Imagine to remind us of how the world should be and how to create peace on earth for everyone.

In my eyes John Lennon certainly isn’t the only one, who’s a dreamer I have the same dream!

I saw the film Juno last night and the opening song was All I want is You by Barry Louis Polisar and I love it, it made me feel really happy, give it a listen it’s great, really uplifting.

The film Juno wasn’t bad either loved the character Juno, the type of character you wish you had as a friend in real life, quirky and fun.

I’m going through a classical stage hearing Clint Mansell’s Lux Aeterna and I was thinking back to all the small introductions that I have enjoyed through my life so far of traditional or off the wall music.

I’m not into opera my regular musical pallet is rock, but I have been to see one opera so far in my life which was Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore.
It wasn’t my cuppa tea at all mainly because it’s out dated which then lead me to wonder if there is any modern opera out there in the world, then I remembered the Blue Diva from the movie 5th Element starring Bruce Willis

Was listening to some classical music when me and my hubby got to talking about our favourite classical music and my hubby mentioned he got into classical music from watching Bugs Bunny cartoons when he was a child.

We got to reminiscing about our favourite Warner Brothers Cartoons when we remembered the Rabbit of Seville was one of our favourite cartoons as children.

We also loved Ride of the Valkyries with Elmer Fudd singing Kill Da Wabbit, but I couldn’t find a video on line to put on my website

Were huge fans of Animation from Warner Brothers to modern day movies like Shrek, but I have to say Cartoon today are rubbish compared to the simple cartoons from Warner in the 1950′s which are hilarious.

I’ve just discovered this great piece of music.
