Shanghai by Cirque Du Ciel Show Review
We were absolutely gob smacked by the performers in Cirque Du Ciel show Shanghai.
OMG totally out of this world.
It was that good I can only tell you how good it is in sound bits, so here it goes the show was:
Mind Blowing, unbelievable, astonishing, jaw dropping, absolutely phenomenal, breathtaking, exciting, dazzling, one hell of a show, never to be missed, experience of a life time
You haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen these guy and gals live
The acrobatics was Awesome! never seen anything quite like it, I saw the Chinese State Circus at the theatre a few years back, they where good and magical, but Cirque Du Ciel are on another level.
Paul Zerdin Sponge Fest
We went to see sponge fest the other day it was awesome
Our cheeks were hurting after the show from all the smiling and laughing, I don’t think our faces dropped once during the show, so much fun.
Paul Zerdin is a ventriloquist and sponge fest is a great family comedy show with the main stars being of the spongy kind.
Paul’s amazing talent brought to life Sam, Albert and baby and transported us all to a world of make believe and laughs.
The whole audience was lively throughout the show, I loved it when Paul as part of his act with baby shouted boo and a little kid in the audience yelled ‘argh’! LOL.
Skegness Illuminations Switch On Just For Us
We were on a midnight walk walking down south parade when the Illuminations came on
They were testing them for the illuminations switch on in preparation for this Saturday and we got to see them.
It was like they came on especially for us, one minute we were walking with the street lights blurring orange the next we were bathed in multicoloured lights, it was awesome
There’s some new Illumination down on South Parade there really nice, so do yourself a favour and go on an Skegness Illuminations walk with the kids it’ll be a great evening of family fun, I think I’ll get some video this year of the Lights around Skeg.
Skegness SO Festival – Strictly Dumb Prancing Street Theatre
OK so there was loads to see at the Skegness SO Festival in 2011, the big shows might have been a bit disappointing but the smaller street theatre, art and live music on Tower Gardens was awesome.
Funny show we saw was strictly dumb prancing, this talented duo had everyone laughing ![]()
A really good little performance and one I’m glad I didn’t miss.
We did miss a few small shows during the SO Festival, but strictly dumb prancing made up for it
Check out their website at www.strictlydumbprancing.co.uk I loved their Biographies, it’s always interesting to read about performers lives and how they got where they are today.
Games Time – Skegness SO Festival
Skegness SO Festival is an official partner of the 2012 Olympics and we got the opertunity to see a taster of the performances that will take place during the London Olympics.
One of these shows was Games Time, the fireworks was good the costumes nice, the rest, oh dear! …. since this is an happy blog I’ll leave it at that
I got some good photographs, even though I was right at the back of the crowd.
World Famous Firework Show – All Hands at Skegness SO Festival
One of the big evening events during the Skegness SO Festival was World Famous Firework Performance – All Hands.
It was OK, nice fireworks and I do love me fireworks so it wasn’t a complete wash out, didn’t understand the message of the show All Hands at one point a washing line was strung across the stage, what was all that about?
There was some nice undies up there though, lovely pairs of pants and a fetching red bra
We missed a good part of the show because we where in the middle of the crowd and apparently most of the action was on the floor at the front?
