Good News Stories 2010
A 14 month old baby had a chopstick lodged into it’s brain. The baby had been playing with the chopstick while the baby’s mom was in another room.
The toddler is thought to have fallen on the chopstick resulting in the chopstick penetrating 4mm into baby’s brain though the nasal cavity.
Doctors in China removed the chopstick successfully and the child came out from the ordeal with no adverse effects
Heroes Season 4
Heroes season 4 started to day on BBC 2. I had forgotten all the exciting things that had happened in the previous season like Sylar being mind wiped and living his life as Nathan pertrelli and that Nathan Petrelli was dead!
How does someone forget that!, I must have had my eyes shut last season or something
, and that our favourite character Hero powers are on the fritz.
We watched the first episode of season 4 and was gob smacked when we discovered Hero as a brain tumor and was going to die NO! they can’t let that happen, not to Hero, he’s so sweet and lovely.
Just Dance : Wii Game
I received Just Dance for the Wii through the post today, so I eagerly tidied up and while it was snowing outside my window I was dancing away in my living room with my son, we had a right laugh at each others expense
One of the best Wii games we own, we had lots of fun and got plenty of exercise.
We played Just Dance for 2 hours straight doing moves I haven’t done in years, I was having so much fun I almost forgot I had a family to look after OOPS!
had to stop and feed the family when their stomachs started rumbling, but every mum should be allowed to have a little bit of fun once in a while, I think I’ll be playing this Wii game for quite some time to come.

Me and my son have been busy again making funny picture captions.
Fun in the Snow
Had a great day today:-) it snowed last night so I went out side to play with my youngest.
I spent 2hrs out there I haven’t had that much fun in ages we built a snow man and played loads of snow games.
we had a snowball-fight, played a target game, threw two snowball and tried to smash them in the middle, we threw one snow ball between us until it disintegrated, threw snowballs at the house to see who’s snowball went the highest I felt like a kid again
.
My son and I tried to threw snowballs at a bucket trying to knock it over, but we where that bad a shot we ended up throwing them in the bucket, so we changed the game to throwing snowballs in the bucket and we kept knocking it over, Go figure
We had a right laugh.
Robin Red Breast in the Garden.
Today I saw a Robin in my Garden YAH!
I have been feeding the birds all winter in the hope of having a Robin visit my garden. Robin Red Breasts are very shy and I thought I might not attract a robin because the bird feeder is right outside a glass door that’s in our living room and we’re constantly walking passed.
Me and the Robin scared each other at first. I was tiding up and walk towards the window when I saw him, I froze on the spot. The Robin Red Breast stared at me for a long while, then went back to feeding.
Funny Photo captions
Me and my son spent the evening making up funny captions to photographs on the Internet before he went to bed, hope you like them.
Found Bird Ring in a Bird of Prey’s Pellet
Not sure if you would call this a happy memory, but it is an interesting one.
About a month ago I opened up my backdoor and was confronted with lots of feathers blowing in the wind and the top and bottom beak parts of a bird and on the floor and a mysterious slimy fluff ball.
We didn’t know what had killed the bird and we speculated, because the feathers looked as though it had been plucked and there was no carcass in sight that a bird of prey must have been eating it’s dinner on our roof.
