I really enjoyed my trip to Snipe’s Dale Nature Reserve, I haven’t left my home town in over 4 years, so it was a great break for a few hours from the usual for me and was kinder exciting
My hubby hurt his back and had to have an operation a few years back and we haven’t been able to go any where. Looking after my hubby and not dragging him off to places that would course him pain and discomfort is always paramount and it means since he has suffered with a bad back for years ( about 15 years) we as a family don’t get to go many places, so it was a great couple of hours for us being able to see and do some thing different.
Snipe Dale was a lovely wooded nature reserve we haven’t seen a wood in years. The trees was filled with little birds and the air was thick with beautiful bird song, there was a little stream running though the wood that little birds kept swooping down to too have a drink it was so idilica scene, there was lots to see even though spring has only just started to bloom.
Our eldest son came along, he was visiting from University for Easter break, he has a least seen a wood before since we used to live next to one when he was little.
It was a lovely couple of hours
our youngest and me got to run up and down hills and it was such an uplifting day. I don’t know if we will be able to go again to Snipe Dale Nature Reserve since the wood was hilly and my hubby struggled a bit, but it is a memory I will cherish.
England is so beautiful, I love nature!
